Alandium partnered with Barugzai Motors to develop a bespoke private label watch collection that captures the boldness and prestige of their brand. As a premium custom automotive company, Barugzai sought a luxury timepiece that could serve as a refined extension of its design identity. This exclusive 10-piece collection was created as part of a high-end gifting solution for clients purchasing their limited-edition V-Class custom vehicles.
Each watch was conceived with a clear focus: to craft a one-of-a-kind product that reflected the brand’s attention to detail, exclusivity, and lifestyle appeal. This private label watch project demonstrates how design synergy between two luxury brands can result in a product with enduring value.
About Barugzai Motors
Barugzai Motors is a Dubai based luxury automotive atelier specializing in bespoke enhancements for high-end SUVs, Vans and performance vehicles. Known for their bold styling and precision detail, the brand represents individuality, craftsmanship, and elite design. The collaboration with Alandium was a natural step in extending their product offering into luxury accessories.
Design Concept
The concept behind the Barugzai private label watch was to translate the brand's signature aesthetic into horological form. A monochrome palette with polished steel elements reflects Barugzai's vehicle finishes, enriched by the use of gold accents contrasted with black to align with the client’s brand aesthetic. Each watch has hand-encrusted stones and the subtle customisation throughout the timepiece elevates its exclusivity. Designed not just to complement, but to enhance the luxury car ownership experience, the watch brings brand alignment to the wrist.
Custom Dial Design
One of the defining elements of the Barugzai watch is its custom dial. Featuring the Barugzai logo placed prominently at the center, the dial serves as a bold statement of identity. The logo integration was carefully balanced with clean hour indices to ensure legibility and visual harmony. As a private label watch manufacturer, Alandium ensured the design aligned seamlessly with the brand's existing visual assets.
Custom Case Back
Each watch in this limited edition series features a fully customised engraved case back. Inspired by the shape and iconography of the Barugzai emblem, we created a new design element exclusive to this project. Every unit is individually numbered, reinforcing the exclusivity of the collection and giving each timepiece a unique identity. This detail serves both a technical and symbolic role in establishing the watch as a collector's piece.
Custom Buckle Engraving
To complete the visual signature, we designed a custom buckle engraved with the Barugzai name. This subtle yet powerful branding element ensures continuity from case to strap. The buckle design was CNC milled and treated with a high-polish finish to maintain the premium quality associated with both brands. Personalised watch buckles are an increasingly popular request in private label manufacturing, and this project highlights the impact of detailed branding.
Project Outcome
The Barugzai x Alandium watch collection was introduced as an ultra-exclusive gift for Barugzai's VIP vehicle clients. It marked a new chapter in the brand's client experience strategy, one that extended beyond vehicles and into lifestyle.
